A Practical Guide to Safer Schools

This interactive workshop combines an
education-based examination of school safety
concerns with practical, low-cost, and effective
strategies for ensuring a safe learning environment.

In this workshop, participants will discuss the
knowledge, skills, and principles of equity literacy
and strategies for incorporating the framework into
classrooms and schools.

and inform change at the
school, district, state,
and national levels.
Educators will experience
transformative learning; design
innovative, concrete action plans;
and collaborate with professional
peers on groundbreaking ideas,
